Skin health and physiology to prevent pressure ulcers in bedridden patients: Evaluation of skin microcirculation—blood flow (BF_Sk) and oxygenation, measured as transcutaneous partial pressure of oxygen (TcPO₂_sk)—microclimate parameters including skin temperature (T_sk) and relative humidity (Rh_sk) at the skin–contact surface interface, and subjective assessments of thermal sensation, comfort, and mattress firmness. These evaluations were conducted alongside anthropometric measurements, body composition analysis, skinfold thickness assessment, and health status screening to determine participant eligibility.
